Here’s a look at Scribe Tired Shepard – a sweet custom that started its life as TRWG! by Pete Fowler. One of his numerous pieces for his upcoming Introvert Extrovert solo, this custom shows off Scribe’s creativity and considerable sculpting skills. Definitely a sweet piece. Mark Landwehr of Coarsetoys will open his Noop show on Friday, September 12th, 2008 [6-9 PM] @ Rotofugi. The art show will be accompanied by the official release of Mark’s newest 12” figure – Noop. This figure marks both the familiar and the new for Mark. While you can clearly still make out the influences of his chiseled 1:6 extreme sports figures, the outrageous shark head is definitely a fun departure. Exciting stuff.

The figures scheduled to drop are MINDstyle’s 16” Panda Slap Happy by Brandt Peters, MINDstyle’s Benny & Red Bird Hot Version by Kathie Olivas and MINDstyle’s 8” China Star by Buff Monster. Each of these three figures are limited to 88 pieces worldwide.

Some pictures were released recently on MAD’s Flickr of his custom contribution for the Eye Candy show curated by Marka27 and ManOne, which is going to be held at the Crewest Gallery. This custom is obviously a tribute to good ol’ mom. Resembling the classic “mom” heart tattoo, MAD put his creativity to work onto a 10” Mad*L.
