To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of My Little Pony, Hasbro has asked artists, designers, celebs and children to customize large 18″ versions of the classic toy for The My Little Pony Project. Participants include tokidoki, Junko Mizuno, Superdeux (above), Julie West, Jon Burgerman, TADO, Debbie Gibson, LeAnn Rimes, and more. The customs were seen throughout the year at various events including this year’s SDCC. They are now up for charity auction with bidding set to end tomorrow, Thursday October 2nd at 12PM PDT. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Give Kids the World a charitable organization focused on bringing happiness to children with life-threatening illnesses. Go check out the auctions — most of the pieces have rather reasonable bids (some might say cheap).

satu satunya figure perempuan dikeluarkan oleh Muttpop (US), setelah sukses dengan seri sangar X lucu pegulat Mexico lucha libre, Lou, El Panda, Mini Gobby etc, akhirnya sebuah figure cantik dirilis Muttpop, diberi nama Molly dan tidak mengambil konsep dari pegulat tradisional Mexico lagi, baju figure ini lebih ke Jepang jepangan, ini ditegaskan dan terlihat dari design box yang didesain menaruh muka Molly dari dekat, dengan draawing runcing ala anime, Molly dilengkapi accesories celana pocket selutut (pocket pants),sarung tangan, sneaker dan masker, terlihat lebih seperti pilot dari sebuah pesawat luar angkasa…ini dipertegas pula dengan kalimat Star Racer (pembalap bintang), yup Mollly memang didesain sebagai kebalikan dari figure Muttpop sebelumnya yang mengambil sebuah culture tradisional Mexico, nice job Bill + Bob, Molly juga dirilis dalam 2 warna, yang satu dengan warna lengkap, sementara figure Molly lainnya hanya berwana hitam, tapi dirilis dengan bentuk yang sama..
but this good stuff I think you cannot miss it, this figure and put it in your case (rack) or in you bedroom, nice, time to purchase again don’t miss it Lol (M!)

To celebrate and promote the release of FaceBreaker, an action-oriented boxing game for next-gen consoles, EA Sports commissioned twelve artists to recreate the game’s characters as custom
Munnys. Specifically, there’s Brick by Brent Clowater, Steve by Kimberly Cairns, Kiriko by Nomi Chi, Voodoo by Amanda Rude, Sparrow by Angela Ling, Spin by Colin Moore, Molotov by Duke Barstow, Romeo by English, Socks by Bentone, Kekoa by Mark Jansen, and Ice by Mark Atomos Pilon. While we’ve seen video game related custom figures created by fans, I think this may be the first actual official PR project involving customs (though I’m happy to be proven wrong). (vinylpulse)
Seri Munny terbaru dari Kid Robot, mannggunakan konsep petarung, dalam rangka merayakan dirilisnya sebuah game dari EA sport, banyak sekali artist yang mengcustomized Munny, dan mengconvertnya menjadi sebuah figure petarung…ini langkah promosi yang cukup baik bagi kedua perusahaan Kidrobot dan EA sport, juga untuk artits artistnya, (mungkin mereka dapet game console nya gratis kali yah Lol..) , movement bagus dilakukan Kid Robot dan EA..time to party again Lol (AeM!)
DC Shoes designer Aaron Thomas has and he’s found the culprits – devils. His Diabolus Mundus solo opening @ Subtext on Friday September 5th (6-10 PM) in SD exposes these previously unseen trouble-makers. This latest body of work grew out of a project done for Rob Clayton’s media experimentation class prior to graduating from the Art Center College of Design.

If there’s a more prolific commercially successful vinyl customizer out there than Huck Gee, I have yet to meet him/her. Because of his overwhelming popularity, his limited-edition customs sell out on eBay in ridiculously quick fashion – often in as little as ten seconds.
To increase collectors’ success of purchasing his customs, Huck is taking two steps – first he’s going to track and ban aggressive resellers of his customs and ban them from future custom sales. He’s also going to occasionally go with a slightly-expanded run (20 rather than his standard 10). Peep Huck’s blog for the finer details.
