Long time Artist, toy designer, and all around intense dude Jim Koch is featured in a two-page spread in the upcoming issue of Inked Magazine as one of their “Inked People”. The issue should hit newstands and Barnes and Noble this week. Art wise, Jim is best known for his hot rod influenced imagery. Toy wise, the down n’ out clown has to be his signature character whether it’s a three-pack of Trexis or numerous customs.

Japanese illustrator Ippei Gyoubu weaves together visions of hip youth awash in trendy style — current and futuristic. From their clothes to their gear and music, these ‘toons exude cool. In addition to his Spunky A Go-Go and Planet Fusion comics, Ippei has also worked with high-profile brands including Sony Walkman, Dr. Pepper and Addidas. He is currently in charge of character design for Nickelodeon’s animation adaptation of Akihabara@Deep. In between all these projects, he’s also designed his first original toy, Jet Girl.
The Jet Girl polystone figure will soon be release by Wonderwall as part of the 2nd wave of Galle Colle figures. With a funky mashed-up fashion sense, she’s ready to rock with axe in hand. She drops at the end of June — keep an eye out.
Muttpop is bringing Tequila back… Fresh from Jerry Frissen’s blog is a look at an early proto test of Tequila Classico. Sounds like they’ve definitely made tweaks to it since. Muttop also recently revealed the new tequila box — stunning, done in a fresh comic-inspired style.

and here we have a slightly better idea of HAMMERHEAD’s definition of form with this prototype peeped on intheyellow of Joe Ledbetter’s latest KFGU-figure since it’s last appearance in clay - which is slated to make it’s debut at Joe’s Creature Comforts show in STITCH Japan (April 4 / blogged):
*note: 50-figures will be sold during the exhibition (orders via email is accepted) altho customers visiting the show at STITCH will be given priority to purchase. Intheyellow will retain 30-pcs for sale, made available after the exhibition is over (after April 13th) … the figure is reported to be finished in an aqua-teal colorway.
