In a fitting turn, the next 4” Geisha is by none other than tokidoki. This release is a rare artist crossover on Tokyoplastic’s signature character. Dropping from Toy Tokyo, this is their first announced SDCC exclusive and is the same sculpt as the yellow NYCC geisha. It will will be available for $40 at the Toy Tokyo booth @ SDCC. While SDCC news has been a little slow, the trickle is starting to pickup momentum.

The Zany Duo that is Triclops Studio went retro and rolled and kneaded their way as they created the Trilsbury Dough Boy custom for the Tokyoplastic King of Monsters show opening today — Saturday (April 26th, 2008) from 7 to 11 PM @ The Showroom NYC. Good Job! Inverting the Geisha worked really well — wonder how long it took to see that possibility.

The Showroom NYC is warmed up and ready to go. Last weekend the space hosted Kaiju Invades NYC. This weekend, 10″ custom Kokeshis will rule the roost above 2nd ave for the Tokyoplastic King of the Monsters show. Here’s a look at Dylan Sisson’s submission for the show. Wacky and just a bit style. Be sure to come out for the opening Saturday (4.26) from 7 to 11 PM for an army of custom 10″ Kokeshi geishas and free Singha.
