Patch Together, the website that gives everyone the shot at being a toy designer, recently released Mekazoo’s Robolucha vinyl release in three different colorways.
Robolucha was created by using the DNA of a famous Mexican wrestler. He was fighting at the Robot Wrestling League but one day he got pissed off as he couldn’t find a rival to beat him and got retired. Now he is living in a humble apartment enjoying mechanic nachos and lubricant tequila. [Source Plastic and Plush]

Spied on 5 & A Dime’s blog were photos of the preview for the collaboration between DC Shoes and UNKL Brand. We get a view of of the “Graph” sneaker partnered up with the UNKL SUG huge figure. Being released through a limited number of participating stores in January we know that 5 & A Dime will be one of the shops where you can pick up this set.
Power Ranger Rabbotto is Luke Chueh’s 2nd figure for Intheyellow’s Kaiju for Grownups line (KFGU). The followup of sorts to Mecha Sad Bear invokes the now ubiquitious Power Rangers – a band of five warriors who thanks to the wonder (or is that horror?) of remixing have found new life battling Japanese monsters for the enjoyment of American audiences.
Luke’s design goal for Power Ranger Rabbotto was to strike a balance between the genre inspiration and his own art – without one overpowering the other. So while the 70’s bad-ass kitsch comes through, the face and the ears put the Chueh stamp on the design.
Power Ranger Rabbotto is due in ‘09 and will naturally be available in five colorways: Red, Blue, Black, Yellow and Pink.
