Pocket Full of Monsters will let loose with The Mash-Up on Thursday, June 26th 2008 (7 PM) @ Munky King. The show will feature art from the radical and ever-growing crew including: Angrywoebots, Peekaboomonster, Mainframe, 2H, Akirophoto, 179, Sua, Darvin Vida, Phallic Mammary, Tragnark, myCryptonauts, Phoneticontrol, Bryan Fedderen & Aloha Terrorists. Several crew members will be at the opening live and in living color. Peekaboo, Woebots, myCryptonatus, and 2H are locked in. More confirmations shortly.
In addition to the original art, Munky King will also offer a PFOM set featuring 7 giclees from 7 crew members. There will also be a crew mash-up print and a Pocket roll-call shirt.
This the night to fill up your black book (or heck even start one) with plenty of crew members on-hand ready to show their skills. Hmm… speaking of which, live painting

Munky King will soon drop the next figure in Thomas Han’s Pushers series — the Monster Pusher. The Monster will be available in a glitzy black (500 pcs) and a rarer GID edition (150 pcs). As with the other Pushers, the Monster’s mask can be removed . What’s underneath this time… sharp teeth. Monster follows the first two Pushers — Pirate and Spirit.
As an added bonus, Munky King will give people a chance to win a super-limited magenta Animal Pusher (only 20 exist). Munky King will choose a number from 1 to 150, and whoever purchases the GID edition with the same # will win the Animal Pusher. Also, be on the lookout for DIY pushers. The creator of The Mini-Gods, Victor “Marka27″ Quinonez, wanted to bring something new to the table with soul, substance, and an urban edge. Mini-Gods are inspired by African, Asian, South and Central American ancient art and culture.
The long-awaited 16″ figure comes with a full range speaker and has an integrated amplifier for increased speaker power — all the better to bump your music! A lone 9 volt battery will power the speaker and amp. The figure will have a minijack connector (seen on the bottom left-hand side) providing compatibility with any music device with a headphone jack such as an ipod, cd player, boombox, laptop or desktop.
