We recently spoke of We Kill You’s latest sculpt here. Now Hickory Bitternut III has been brought to life and is fully painted and ready for its first release. The very first release of Mr. Bitternut is the Healthy Forest Edition. He stands at 5.5” tall and is handpainted and handcasted. The attention to detail is a big hit for this figure. And for this colorway, the paint job gives it a walking salad monster feel. Available Saturday, February 14th @ 12 Noon PST at WKY’s website. Each figure is signed and packaged in bag and header and will run $50 + shipping.
Super7 and Secret Base are drawing inspiration from the past for a brand new collaboration. The Kaiju Spray Frankenbrains are based on the previous Kaiju Spray releases from SB. The new figures
are a mash-up featuring the iconic Skull Brain head (and inner head) fused to S7’s Frankenghost body. The trio of figures are cast in GID vinyl with one of three different sprays — flourescent pink, green or orange.
The blind-packaged Kaiju Spray Frankenbrains will drop this Saturday, June 10th from the Super7 Store in SF and online @ super7store.com.

There is an onslaught of exclusive figures coming from the Gargamel Gang Show over at Grasshut this weekend. Koji Harmon is releasing an exclusive Gargamel Gang Tokoji Seijin just for the show. This Tokji has two layers of vinyl, a glowing layer on the inside and a clear blue on the outside. It’s colored with green, brown, yellow, and silver spray. A limited number will be held for Koji’s online store beginning at January 18th 1 PM Japan Time for those who cannot make the show in Portland. If your close enough to travel to Grass Hut on the 9th you can leave him with this beauty that same day. More goodies from Koji and the rest of the Gargamel crew this Friday!

Gargamel will soon land in Portland for the Gargamel Gang show which opens Friday, January 9th [6-9 PM] @ Grass Hut. Chanmen, Kiyoka Ikeda, Naoya Ikeda and Koji Harmon are brining a slew of custom vinyls, paintings, 3 exclusive figure drops (including the Zombie Ojo Rojo, see previous post). The event will also mark the premiere of Bwana’s newest vinyl character, Dolly the Dolphin.

As we reported on Tuesday, Fewmany will be hosting Kaijin Toy 2009 on January 12th, 2009. The mini exhibition will feature the debut gray releases of the first two characters in Wonderwall’s Mysterious Island Jambara – Pocl and Tiruru created by Kaijin (50 pcs each, ~ $20). The new series will apparently be made in Japan rather than China. The show will also feature drops of an exclusive solid blue version of Kaijin’s Musyubel figure (~ $50) from One UP and the Steel Faeries Fewmany exclusive (100 pcs, ~ 37 dollars).
