Muttpop just announced on their blog that Black Bean Molly is just about to enter the final stages of production. Base on the uber cool animated series, Oban Star Racers, Molly was scaled to compliment her Lucha Libre buddies.

Muttpop artist Bill is winding down his US signing tour with one last stop in the Bay Area. He and Lucha Libre writer Jerry Frissen will be @ Neon Monster tomorrow — Thursday, July 30th 2008 (4:00 to 7:30 PM). If you purchase a Muttpop figure or one of the Lucha Libre comics, you’ll get a sweet sketch from Bill as a bonus. Don’t miss this opportunity, after Thursday Bill’s on a plane back to France.

Muttpop’s Bill, Jerry Frissen, and Muttpop Bob will be signing at SDCC in the Image Comics and Munky King booths this Friday and Saturday. Image Comics (#2729) will be offering issues #1-5 of the Lucha Libre comics. Munky King (#4539) will drop the first release of the Dr. Destruction Black Beans. Also, Frank Kozik will be selling the Anarchy Mini Gobis (fifth and last Kozik mini gobi).
Be sure to check out the signings – Bill will include a sketch with each Muttpop purchase. Finally, get a glimpse of the future – full color protos of Molly and the Tcho! by Ohm mini-figs will be on display at the DKE Toys booth (#4732).

Akhirnya muttpop melaunchingkan sebuah komik yang sebuah komik yang menjadikan semua aktor utama di muttpop toys (Dr. Destruction, Red Demon, El Panda, Lucha Libre etc) di sebuah gallery kecil di Perancis dengan nama Delkographik, yang akan menampilkan Artwork dengan gaya komik berjudul Lucha Libre, yang juga mengikut sertakan beberapa designer Perancis yang menggambar dan juga terlibat sewaktu pembuatan Komik tersebut, exhibition ini diselenggarakan pada hari sabtu tanggal 19 April 2008
Deklographik Studio will host the opening of the Muttpop 100th Anniversary Show (just a few more to go… wink) on Saturday April 19th, 2008 (7 to 10 PM) [flier]. This retrospective show will feature art from the Lucha Libre comic book as well as custom Muttpop toys from a large group of French artists including several who work on the comic book. Expect customs from llycat, ohm, mickael roux, artizarnal, bill, julien neel, niko, hervé T, easy hey, miss madame, joshua, maikuru, bunka, dobermann, strom, open close, koa, XXX prod. The show runs through May 14th. Look for a preview of the customs soon….
