To start off the new year FewMany will host a mini exhibition filled with figures, customs, and paintings by Kaijin. Also to be released during the show will be a new series by Kaijin, The Mysterious Island Jambara. The show will debut Tiruru and Pocl, which will also be available for purchase for 2100 Yen ($20 US) in stores as well as online. Another figure to be released for that day is the Musyubel in blue vinyl priced at 5250 Yen ($50 US). As we reported on Tuesday, Fewmany will be hosting Kaijin Toy 2009 on January 12th, 2009. The mini exhibition will feature the debut gray releases of the first two characters in Wonderwall’s Mysterious Island Jambara – Pocl and Tiruru created by Kaijin (50 pcs each, ~ $20). The new series will apparently be made in Japan rather than China. The show will also feature drops of an exclusive solid blue version of Kaijin’s Musyubel figure (~ $50) from One UP and the Steel Faeries Fewmany exclusive (100 pcs, ~ 37 dollars).
Wonderwall has a pair of new exclusive releases which will drop from FEWMANY, their retail space in Tokyo. First up is the Black x Yellow Tudo from Touma (below). It’s limited to 100 pieces, drops on 12.12 and will retail for 3360 yen. Nice flame + char design with a nice yet abstract graphic on the back. Our favorite thing about Tudo is the mix of horns and noses from edition to edition.
In January, there’s a Fewmany Steel Faeries exclusive by Kaijin. This one has a a bit of a regal feel with the crown like design on the helmet + the blue/gold color scheme. It’s also limited to 100 pieces and will retail for 3780 yen.
Super7’s ‘08 Halloween series comes to a close with the orange ‘n black Hood Zombie. This one is cast in clear orange vinyl, with black, silver, yellow and orange spray. It drops tomorrow – Dia De Los Muertos, Saturday November 1st @ 11AM PDT for $55 each at the S7 SF store and online. Kaijin’s funky Fulcraim figure from One Up. This new Chrysalis edition just might be the best yet. It’s a mix of silver glitter + clear vinyl set off really nicely with white and pink accents, very nice color combination, especially for Kaijin figure, pink for kaijin…mmhhh why not, you can purchase him for USD 69. and only produce in 95 pcs.
