The Lava Smash is now available on Joe Ledbetter’s website store. If you want one you’ll have to be quick since there are less than 90 available (subscribers got them first). They’re priced at $175 and are a joeledbetter.com exclusive (meaning these won’t be for sale at retail anywhere or anytime else!).
Mytummytoys X Vinylpulse 2008
The new Death Edition is probably the most combative version of Joe Ledbetter’s new Hammerhead KFGU figure from intheyellow. This blood splattered edition should put to rest some collectors’ concerns that some of the colorways weren’t rumble ready. It’s limited to 100 pieces, and scheduled to drop in mid-September with a suggested retail price of about $68. Get a closer view after the jump.

In the process of creating Smash for Toy2R, Joe Ledbetter created a full-body paint master. He also hand-painted the heads of three additional blank Smash figures (and just the head) so the factory could work on the three different facial expressions. Here is a look at the Candy Smash head paint master, courtesy of its owner, Henry Loh. Talk about one-of-a-kind collectible. Click through for more pics.
