There’s a new fish (well.. shark) in the water. Building on the success of his Sharky vinyl, Keith Poon has created a bigger brother — a hammerhead shark. This as yet unnamed hammerhead vinyl sculpted by NEMO is bigger (taller and wider) and meaner (check out the crooked hook + knife) than his little bro.
While Sharky’s got some bite he’s also sleek and streamlined. In contrast, Hammerhead is a hulking beast - open intimidation seems to be his game. From a design perspective, ol ‘hammy’s got a lot more front-facing surface area for artwork from his noggin to his larger ‘belly area’ due to his almost closed mouth. The first production hammerhead is expected to swim into stores late this year. After the jump - a full hammerhead shark photo gallery.

and here we have a slightly better idea of HAMMERHEAD’s definition of form with this prototype peeped on intheyellow of Joe Ledbetter’s latest KFGU-figure since it’s last appearance in clay - which is slated to make it’s debut at Joe’s Creature Comforts show in STITCH Japan (April 4 / blogged):
*note: 50-figures will be sold during the exhibition (orders via email is accepted) altho customers visiting the show at STITCH will be given priority to purchase. Intheyellow will retain 30-pcs for sale, made available after the exhibition is over (after April 13th) … the figure is reported to be finished in an aqua-teal colorway.
and if the arrow thru the heart on Hammerhead’s butt was actually a harpoon, it would be quite farnie. heh.
Lagi satu figure keluar dari toys artist Joe Ledbetter, figure itu dinamakan Hammer Head, konsepnya diambil dari Hiu kepala palu..yep good toys and figure..
keep your good work Joe
