Sebuah figur Mad diberi title Eye Candy, entah mengapa di bertitle tersebut, mungkinkah karena warna Pink Tua kemagenta magentaan yang mendominasi figure MAD ini..ternyata ini adalah kontribusi dari MAD ke sebuah show yag diberi Judul Eye candy….mmmhh saya salah mengartikan rupanya, Marka27 adalah curator dari Exhibition ini, dengan font classic graphic “mom’ yang diberi sentuhan seperti tattoo tetap membuat figure custom MAD ini lezat untuk dinikmati…(M..!)
Some pictures were released recently on MAD’s Flickr of his custom contribution for the Eye Candy show curated by Marka27 and ManOne, which is going to be held at the Crewest Gallery. This custom is obviously a tribute to good ol’ mom. Resembling the classic “mom” heart tattoo, MAD put his creativity to work onto a 10” Mad*L. figure paling sukses buatan kid robot ini lagi lagi melakukan kolaborasi dengan Huck Gee, setelah proyek Secret Fresh Manila (standard lho namanya…Lol), figure ini dikeluarkan lagi oleh Kid robot US, aneh mengapa selalu Huck Gee, waaahhh mungkin Huck Gee mempunyai segudang porto Huck Gee yang diperhitungkan Kid robot, atau malah pertimbangan cost…mmmhh posible maybe, caused Huck Gee adalah orang Amerika, jelas komunikasi dan deal dealan akan lebih lancar, tapi ga ada gunanya juga ngobrolin itu, figure Huck Gee maupun Dunny atau produk Kid Robot tetap lezat buat dibeli dan dikoleksi sebagai artwork atau barang investasi atau barang dagangan, material yang halus (soft vinyl, dan figure yang didesain rapih) menjadi senjata utama produk produk perusahaan toys milik Paul Budnitz ini (M..!)

Huck Gee house of customs is about to open its doors again. Dropping this Friday are 10 Skullhuntress Life Priestess custom Munnys/Dunnys. The female counterpart and opposing force to his previously released Skullhunter High Death Priest figure struts her positive voodooness (yes, it’s in Websters — honest) with a nice sun-shaped headdress.
While this disclaimer may go without saying – if you want one of these you need to be quick on the draw. Huck’s customs go in a flash.

Intoxicated Demons Gallery in Berlin will showcase the work of four young German graffiti artists with the opening of its Addicted to Details show on August 8th. The show will feature the graffiti-based work of Aro, Dome (Karlsruhe), Hombre (Manheim) and Biser (Black Forest).
The 3D standout from the show has to be Biser. Since September ‘03 he has been working on an army of hand-made custom figures known as ‘The Teeth Project’ . While we try not to act like total fan boys (ahem!) these are awesome.

Who is KAWS :
His real name is Brian Donnelly; he’s from Jersey City, born in 1974. He attended New York’s School of Visual Arts and worked for Disney as a freelance animator after graduation. I met him last year at a rare personal appearance at Undefeated LA - the place was beyond packed, and he seemed nervous and shy. If I were to sum him up in a sentance, it would be “Kaws is a major figure in the movement of underground graffiti culture to the mainstream of gallery art and commercial absorption that began with Jean-Michel Basquiat,” which is true, but doesn’t say anything about the content of his work.
First toy released, the Companion, in partnership with Japan’s Bounty Hunter label. Three colorways.
