Japanese illustrator Ippei Gyoubu weaves together visions of hip youth awash in trendy style — current and futuristic. From their clothes to their gear and music, these ‘toons exude cool. In addition to his Spunky A Go-Go and Planet Fusion comics, Ippei has also worked with high-profile brands including Sony Walkman, Dr. Pepper and Addidas. He is currently in charge of character design for Nickelodeon’s animation adaptation of Akihabara@Deep. In between all these projects, he’s also designed his first original toy, Jet Girl.
The Jet Girl polystone figure will soon be release by Wonderwall as part of the 2nd wave of Galle Colle figures. With a funky mashed-up fashion sense, she’s ready to rock with axe in hand. She drops at the end of June — keep an eye out.
Fuiiiiiih sangat sesak sekali hari kedua di STGCC, saya disambut oleh 2 orang berbaju stromtrooper di pintu gerbang, rupanya didalam ada sebuah booth yang memang menjual dan memamerkan baju baju dari tentara cloning dari Lucas film ini, sekaligus dengan suara stromtrooper sendiri yang diseting sangat mirip dengan film aslinya, orang yang datang cukup antusias, dari mulai stand Nintendo, Gundam, LEGO, chogokin sampai StrangeCO yang dihari pertama tidak begitu ramai, pada hari kedua seluruh stand diserbu oleh pengunjung dari mulai kolektor sampai anak anak kecil, (family)…baju dan kaos saya pun basah kuyup oleh keringat ….
terlihat Pete Fowler, Devil Robot dan Tokidoki sibuk dengan menandatangani toys dan poster-posternya yang ludes dibeli pengunjung
